In more than a year, Quang Tri’s 340MW Gas Power Factory will start functioning

Quang Tri will have a 297 USD gas power plant.

Authorities of Quang Tri province have just had an online meeting with Gazprom to accelerate the progress of the 340MW gas power project. Chairman of the province’s People’s Committee Vo Van Hung said that the project is invested by Gazprom International (Russia) under a BOT contract. The project has been implemented in the Southeast economic zone in more than a year. The project was approved by the Prime Minister, added to the revised Power Master Plan VII. The plant will operate after 2023, adding to the electricity load demand of Vietnam in general and the central region in particular. The factory is expected to play an important role in the industrial and service sectors of the province. This also promotes the development of infrastructure in the Southeast economic zone.

Mitsubishi builds wind power plants in Laos to sell electric power to Vietnam

Mitsubishi and Thailand’s renewable-energy developers will develop Southeast Asia’s largest wind farm in Laos to supply electricity to Vietnam. The 600-megawatt onshore project will be situated in the southern provinces of Sekong and Attapeu. The wind farm will begin its commercial operations in more than a year since construction began. The power from which will be sold to national utility Vietnam Electricity for 25 years. It is expected to be the first cross-border electricity interchange from wind power generation in Southeast Asia.

Apple wants its products to be sold in LG Best Shops in South Korea

Apple also wants to sell LG UltraFine 4K screens.

LG will exit the smartphone market next month. The move means there’ll soon be empty real estate inside the company’s stores and Apple could fill that area with iPhones and other products. LG Electronics is negotiating with Apple on the sale of the iPhone, the iPad and Apple Watch at more than 400 LG Best Shops across South Korea. The shops can use the space and salespeople made available following LG Electronics’ withdrawal from the smartphone business by selling Apple products. South Korean LG phone users can exchange their phone for an Apple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. By the end of this year, LTPO OLED panels for the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max will have been delivered by Samsung and LG.
