Vietnam Airlines launched its own e-commerce platform Vnamall. This e-commerce platform is diversifying the industry and catching up with the trend of digital transformation. Vnamall has the advantage of being the e-commerce platform of Vietnam-based airlines. This e-commerce platform will bring bold aviation products. Vnamall also connects 100 domestic and international routes. This e-commerce platform currently has more than 300 Vietnam Airlines co-branded products. These products include food, agricultural products, beverages, gifts, items, etc. Customers can also order and experience “food in the clouds”. Vnamall will continuously update more diverse products. Those updates will help complete the customer experience chain more efficiently.

Bamboo Airways plans to list its shares in parallel with its IPO

Bamboo Airways is implementing a plan to list shares on UpCoM. The Airways is also finalising its filing for an IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. Bamboo aims to raise $200 million by issuing 5-7% shares on the NYSE. Through that, the company can increase its capitalisation to $4 billion.

Vietravel invested nearly $26 million in its Vietnam-based airlines

Vietravel raised the scale of investment in Vietravel Airlines to nearly 1,300 billion VND in 2021. Vietravel just contributed 593.5 billion VND ($25.8 million) to Vietravel Airlines. In early 2020, Vietravel Airlines was approved to operate for the next 50 years. Total investment capital at that time was 700 billion VND. Vietravel Airlines is headquartered at Phu Bai International Airport. The Vietnam-based airlines provide domestic and international air transportation services. Those will contribute to improving Vietnam’s air transport capacity and developing the tourism industry.
